Chairman Christiansen has guided Winnebago County through the last four years with decisive, results-oriented leadership. Determined to build on his success, Scott is committed to continuing the work that resulted in a lower property tax rate, an aggressive economic development effort, and sound fiscal responsibility. While Chairman Christiansen certainly owned his initiatives, he would be the first to admit that leadership begins with cooperation. He shares Winnebago County’s achievements with its officials and citizens whose invaluable support helped, as Scott likes to say, "Get'er done."
